FLU VACCINATIONS

FLU IS SERIOUS. WITH CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) AROUND IT’S MORE IMPORTANT THAN EVER TO GET THE FLU VACCINE THIS AUTUMN TO PROTECT YOURSELF, OTHERS AND THE NHS.

THE NEED TO KEEP PHYSICAL DISTANCING MEANS IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR GP PRACTICES TO GIVE FLU VACCINES TO EVERYONE THAT SHOULD GET ONE.

IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A FREE FLU VACCINATION (PLEASE SEE FAQs ), YOU CAN ATTEND A WALK THROUGH CLINIC ON ANY OF THE DATES BELOW.

In line with Government advice to help slow & delay the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, from Monday 16th March our appointments will be predominantly by TELEPHONE.  

 

The front door is now closed and we are only seeing patients who have first been assessed by a member of our team over the phone.

 

If you feel you need to be seen please call on 0131 557 5545. Our receptionist will take your information and arrange for a GP or Nurse to call you back.  

 

If you have a sample, a letter or prescription request please post it through the letter box- it will be check regularly throughout the day.

 

DO NOT come into the Surgery with requests for repeat medication. Requests can be made via Patient Access (if you have a pin number), post or be submitted to the local pharmacies. 

 

DO NOT come into the Surgery to collect prescriptions. Please indicate on your request which chemist you wish to collect from.

 

 

The telephone lines will be busy, Please be patient, We will get to you as soon as we can.
