Repeat prescriptions are those drugs that appear on the list of medicines on the right hand side of your last prescription. Any drug not on this list can be requested but may take longer to process or may be refused if the doctor feels they cannot safely prescribe from details within your medical record.
You may order your prescription in a number of ways:
- In Person - put Repeat medication request slip through our letterbox with items clearly marked and advise which pharmacy you would like it sent to.
- By Post - send form to us enclosing a stamped addresses envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- Online - Click Here To Order Your Repeat Prescription (To register for this service you will need to collect a pin number from reception.)
- Via your local pharmacy - please speak to your local pharmacy who may arrange to have your prescriptions ordered and/or delivered for you.
We do not accept repeat prescription requests over the telephone unless you are housebound or over the age of 80.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
You may be asked to attend the surgery on occasions for a review of your medication.
